About the Role

We are seeking a Customer Success Architect to join our Customer Success team in Trichy. This senior technical role focuses on helping customers in thermal management, energy & power systems, and HVAC deploy scalable and high-impact solutions using Modelon Impact. As a trusted technical advisor, you will guide customers through discovery, architecture design, implementation validation, and long-term optimization of simulation workflows. You will work closely with Customer Success, Sales, Product Management, and Engineering teams to ensure customers achieve measurable value and sustained adoption of Modelon Impact. This role combines deep technical expertise, architectural leadership, cross-functional collaboration, and customer-facing problem solving. 

Key Responsibilities

Solution Architecture & Technical Design

  • Lead discovery phases to understand customer goals, engineering workflows, and constraints across thermal, energy, and HVAC applications.
  • Translate these requirements into scalable, secure, and maintainable solution architectures using Modelon Impact.
  • Define integration patterns, data flows, performance requirements, simulation strategies, and deployment best practices.

Customer Technical Leadership

  • Serve as the primary architectural advisor for strategic customer engagements.
  • Conduct architecture reviews, design workshops, and technical steering meetings with customer IT and engineering leadership.
  • Provide guidance during onboarding, pilot execution, and major expansions to ensure long-term success.

Cross‑Team Collaboration & Influence

  • Partner with Customer Success Managers, Sales, and Product teams to build customer success plans and solution roadmaps.
  • Support the sales cycle with technical insights, solution concepts, and risk assessments.
  • Communicate customer needs internally to drive product improvements and alignment with market requirements.

Knowledge Sharing & Internal Development

  • Mentor Customer Success Engineers and contribute to internal capability building.
  • Develop reusable reference architectures, best practices, and technical documentation.
  • Help shape Modelon’s overall solution architecture methodology.

Core Qualifications

  • 3–7+ years of experience in solution architecture, technical consulting, pre‑sales engineering, or similar customer-facing roles.
  • Strong background in modeling and simulation for thermofluid systems, thermal management, energy systems, HVAC, or related domains.
  • Proficiency with system simulation tools such as Modelica, Modelon Impact, Dymola or similar platforms.
  • Familiarity with control systems, optimization, or multi-domain simulation is a plus.
  • Skilled in scripting languages (Python, JavaScript, etc.) and version control (Git, SVN).
  • Strong communication and stakeholder management skills, with the ability to explain complex solutions to both technical and non-technical audiences.
  • Highly organized, proactive, and comfortable managing multiple priorities.

Preferred Experience

  • Experience working with enterprise customers or large-scale engineering environments.
  • Knowledge of energy efficiency, thermal system design, power systems modeling, or HVAC workflows.
  • Exposure to cloud platforms (Azure, AWS) or modern deployment methodologies.
  • AI practitioner with experience applying Agentic AI or AI-driven workflows in system simulation, modeling automation, or engineering decision support.
  • Prior mentoring or technical leadership experience.

The Customer Success Architect plays a critical role in ensuring that customers in thermal management, energy, and HVAC engineering achieve long-term value from Modelon Impact. Your architectural guidance will influence how companies scale simulation across their organizations—impacting engineering efficiency, innovation speed, and operational outcomes.

You will directly shape both customer success and our product evolution.
